About a month ago, I reached out to Nolensville High School Cheer Coach, Mckenzie Story, and asked her if she would be interested in a little side project I was brainstorming. As soon as I mentioned the words: Dogs up for Adoption - it was an immediate YES!

These young ladies, let me tell you...not only were they a joy to work with, but to see their faces every time a new pup came through the door...it was like Christmas morning!

So without further ado...let's meet some adorable pups!

MEET GASTON

Gaston is an absolute dream boat!! Not only is he handsome, has some killer eyes, and super personable - he is down right affectionate! He had us all swooning over him and boy did he eat it up!! (Along with all the cookie treats!)

MEET GAZPACHO

Look at those paws!!! Though Gazpacho may look huge, this gentle giant is nothing but sweetness. He is 6 years old and is currently looking for a foster home or even better, a forever home! He is a big fan of treats and belly scratches. Gazpacho does have some arthritis in his back legs - but that doesn't hold him back. Roswell is a 1 year old pup who is super eager to meet you! This lovable boy know his basic commands and is working on walking on a leash (he likes to take a lot of breaks!).

MEET CUPID

Okay, so when you see a bunch of adorable squishy puppies coming through the door you can't NOT pet them...but then also get slightly jealous of all the time the cheerleaders get to spend with them! So when we had a break in-between, Coach McKenzie wanted to pass the time by bringing out another pup to take pictures with. They brought out Cupid! The adorable 9month old ball of love!

Though Cupid has since been adopted, I still had to share this sweet picture of her and Coach McKenzie!

MEET VELVET

This sweet pup was so much fun!! Velvet, who is 7 months old and is the absolute squishiest! She has been adopted (yay!!) but these pictures are just way too cute to not post!!

MEET BUZZ

The one thing that surprised me the most when visiting the shelter is learning that cats get adopted super quick! And as most know, cats can be super picky about a lot of things...luckily we got the chance to meet Buzz!

Buzz has been adopted to his new forever home!! Yay Buzz!!

Talk about a snuggler!! This sweet pup, who is only 9 months old, definitely has the energy...but then goes right back to cuddles! He does know how to 'sit' but he seems super smart to learn even more!

This super playful and fun pup has finally found his forever home! Hatchi is 1 year old and loves to be outside! One of the cheerleaders was super interested in him so we brought him out twice!!

Woody is a two year old gentleman! This lovable boy is super gentle, loves a good milkbone treat AND is crate trained! Woody is a great leash walker and that face of his is just so stinking cute!! He has been at the shelter for almost 2 months now...

This sweet and gentle boy would be the best new friend for you! King loves ear rubs, walks, is house-trained and takes his cookie treats super gently. Just look at that sweet face of his! (Yes, I'm aware I say sweet a lot...)

Just look at that smile!! Orzo, who is 5 years old, was super eager to sit for his treats! He had so much personality and was super friendly to all of us there. He is currently staying with a foster family but is still available for adoption.

Roo is a super sweet boy who was very eager to meet every single person in the room! Still a puppy, at 1 year old, Roo is very curious. He loves cuddles and some good ear scratches too.

Just look at that sweet face!! Jade is a 1 year old cuddle master. She knows 'sit', is fantastic on walks, and will give you all the kisses that you want (or don't want)! We definitely didn't think she was as young as she is by her temperament.

Jayney was full of all the energy and SUPER playful!! She is 1 year old and already is eager to get those treats for tricks! Her coloring is absolutely beautiful.

If her smile doesn't already tell you, this sweet girl is one happy pup!! Matilda is 5 years old and super lovable. She does great walking, and even better a cuddles!

Sofia's soft smile and gentleness is just a couple of the qualities that make her great! She is only 2 years old and super mellow. Sofia loved getting treats but was all about smiling and posing at the end...a true super model!
